How to Drink More Water!

Here are some tips to help you increase your water intake:

Drink a glass of water as soon as you wake up

– Drink water whenever you have an alcoholic or caffeinated drink.

– Carry a bottle of water with you at all times, so you can keep track of how much you are drinking.

– Drink little and often- your body can better absorb small regular amounts of water so if you do this rather than gulp lots in one go, you won’t need to run to the bathroom every few minutes.

– Eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, as they are a valuable, natural source of water.

–  If you think you might be hungry and not thirsty, have some water then see how you feel in 20 minutes later.

– Set an alarm ( on your mobile phone or watch. for example) to go off every 30 minutes as a reminder to have a sip.

– Remember, once you notice  your mouth is dry, you’re already dehydrated. Drinking little and often will prevent this from happening.
